Several organizations committed to the health and well-being of young people responded to the invitation of the local mission on Monday. Around thirty young people benefited from their advice.
The “Health 360, a Lifestyle that suits you” action, organized by the local mission of Auxerre, brought together several local structures committed to the health and well-being of young people on Monday.
This event, organized by the Milo youth intervention space at the Piedalloues community center, aimed to raise awareness among young people about health and well-being issues.
An important role in success
Health is a fundamental pillar for personal and professional development. The local mission plays a key role in integration pathways by facilitating access to care and taking into account the physical, psychological and mental health of young people, thus contributing to their current or future social and professional success. “The City strongly encourages us to perpetuate this mission with young people, as part of the city contract,” indicated the organizers.
The primary health insurance fund (CPAM) and the sexual health center, regular partners of the local mission, held several stands to provide information and advice to young people on various aspects of health, prevention, medical administrative procedures and sexual health, the different methods of contraception, and the rights of insured persons.
Papillomavirus? Loss of health card? Vaccinations? Condom coverage? The organizers have come up with a question-and-answer game to address these topics in a fun, lighter and more engaging way.
The event attracted around thirty young people, from the local mission and the Teaching League among others, won over by the speeches of the health professionals present, on nutrition, disease prevention, care, health mental health and its risks, addictions.
