The Haut-Marnaise stationery store located above the À la Une bookstore in Chaumont is releasing its first collection of postcards and notebooks. Called ”La Haute-Marne s’enflamme”, what is this project?

With an event like the passing of the Olympic flame, the idea is always to mark the occasion. Usually, everyone whips out their phone to take their best shots. But for Papeterie Haut-Marnaise, based in Chaumont, there is no question of immortalizing this historic day with simple photos.

To do this, Toma Bletner and Aurélien Boillot, managers of the stationery store, had a simple idea: what if we created postcards and collector’s notebooks around the flame? This is how the historical collection ”La Haute-Marne s’enflamme” was launched.

An idea that came instinctively

Once the idea was found, all that remained was to find someone to make it happen, and once again, you didn’t have to look far. Since the end of March, Lola Blanc, a professional graphic design and publishing student at the Charles-de-Gaulle high school, has been doing an internship at the Stationery Store.

Initially working on a reference catalog project for the store, it didn’t take much more explanation for the latter to embark on the adventure.
