The Telethon returns from Friday November 29 to Saturday November 30, 2024. Like every year, the inhabitants of Finistère mobilize to organize numerous meetings, intended to finance research into genetic neuromuscular diseases, including myopathies. Here is the map of events in the department, available on the website of the French Association against Myopathies (AFM).
An XXL program in Quimper
In 2024, Quimper will be one of the Telethon ambassador cities, the only one in Brittany. A substantial program is planned, 60 associations will mobilize on this occasion. In this “XXL gathering”, a pancake marathon is on the menu, with a goal of 10,000 pancakes in twenty hours, but also concerts, a drag show, the organization of the longest gavotte… The hosts of France Télévisions will share the mobilization in duplex and live from Friday November 29, on France 2.
In addition to field collections, pledges can be collected by telephone at 3637, or online on the telethon.fr website. In 2023, the event had generated €92,905,533 in pledges.
