A weekend without metro B… despite the first round of legislative elections.

You will have to walk, take the bike or the relay bus but in all cases you will have to find a solution to get around if you are used to taking metro B.

The line has been at a standstill since Saturday morning due to work being carried out as part of the plan to improve the reliability and modernise the metro lines. The aim is to offer users new, longer trains starting this autumn.

TCL users will not be able to return to metro B until Monday morning after two days of shutdown despite the first round of legislative elections taking place this Sunday.

In the meantime, relay buses are in place and serve the stations from Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle to Saint-Genis-Laval Hôpital Lyon Sud every 6 to 15 minutes. Please note that the stops from Stade de Gerland to Gare d’Oullins are not served by these relay buses.

This work as part of the plan to improve the reliability and modernization of the metro lines will again lead to the closure of metro B this summer. It will be more precisely from August 11 to 15.
