Hugo Vargas-Rios becomes the second new recruit of the DFCO. After three full seasons in National with Le Mans (86 matches, 4 goals, 12 assists) and several appointments as captain, he comes to consolidate the Dijon midfield. Playing on the left wing, this native of Chambray-lès-Tours will occupy the position of relay midfielder at the DFCO.

A player who can create danger at any time

In Dijon, he will again be under the orders of Baptiste Ridira, his former coach at Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Hilaire FC (55 matches in N2): “Hugo is a diligent and hard-working player, endowed with a fighting spirit and of unfailing dedication to the team,” explains the Dijon coach. “He has the grinta of a South American player and can create danger with his left paw, whether from crosses or set pieces.” Coming from Tours FC, the new Dijon player previously played for FC Chartres, Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Hilaire, GOAL FC, Stade Briochin and Le Mans.
