OLLIOULES: The Toulon Opera invited to the 2024 Châteauvallon Summer Festival.

After the success of Mozart’s Requiem choreographed by Bartabas, during the previous edition of the Festival, the Toulon Opera returns to Chateauvallon with a new production of the famous diptych Cavalleria rusticana/Pagliacci.

Jewels of verismo, these “twin” operas have given birth to some of the most famous arias in lyric art.
Italian director Silvia Paoli takes over the unique space of the Châteauvallon amphitheater to unfold the tragedy towards which the code of Mediterranean honor inexorably leads the characters.

The cast is marked by numerous roles taken: Anaïk Morel, highly acclaimed in Carmen last season, will play Santuzza for the first time; Daniel Miroslaw, already noticed at the Toulon Opera in the role of Scarpia, in 2023 will sing Alfio and Tonio.
We also mention the performances of Tadeusz Szlenkier (Canio), Marianne Croux (Nedda), Reut Ventorero (Lola), Andrès Agudelo (Beppe).
The Orchestra and Choir of the Toulon Opera, the Choir of the Montpellier Opera as well as the Masters of the Toulon Opera and the TPM Conservatory will be conducted by the Italian conductor,

Valerio Galli.
