The municipal team presented a new scheme for young people aged 16 to 17 in the town at the Municipal Council on 26 June. It is a way to take a first step into the world of work, during the school holidays, alongside city employees, with a bonus to boot.

12 hours per week maximum

Sorting, cleaning games from the toy library, inventories… These useful and necessary works can be carried out by young people wishing to join the projects offered this summer by the City. It will allow them to get involved, discover teamwork and the rules to be respected, commitment, participation in improving the living environment, as well as the valorization of work. In return, young people will be given dematerialized gift vouchers of 15 euros per ½ day, to be used among a wide choice of major brands. They will be able to work for half-days of 3 hours maximum. In total, young people will be able to work 4 half-days per week, or 12 hours maximum.
