The Natural Games kayak discipline is evolving with new competition formats in 2024. On the program, several events which will take place throughout the weekend with, for the first time, a competition kayak freestyle a format « jam ».
In addition to the traditional format, the jam involves five paddlers, all mixed categories combined, who share the wave for 12 minutes to try as many tricks as possible. All the tricks of the traditional French rules count, but also the “fun moves” like the helicopter with the paddle or the “mystery move”.

The first five women and first five men in the jam qualifications will have the opportunity to compete again during a final, also in jam format. “ 12 minutes per group, which will give the finalists time to send their usual beautiful runs, as well as their most unexpected combos and trophy moves. » details Lucien Shreiber, to the organization of the tests. Kayak and paddle events
Border Cross : Four or five start on the ramp, the first two to arrive at the bottom of the course move on to the next event, until the finals.
Freestyle competition : the Natural Games offer a competition with 45-second runs during which the figures follow one another.
Big Air Ramp : This year, the Big Air ramp for kayaking is back. The ramp will be open during the weekend, during defined slots, to show the public the most beautiful airscrews.
Stand-Up Paddle : for “SUP” fans: two “clinics” on Friday and Saturday, a timed race and the “SUP cross”.
