Kathleen “Kathy” Jones, our lovely mom, nanny and friend has left us to embark on her next adventure. While we are all heartbroken to lose her, we take comfort that she is now free from pain and suffering. Kathleen was born and raised in South Wales but emigrated to Canada for a better life with husband Jeff and two daughters settling in the Edmonton area.
In retirement Kathy and Jeff moved to the west coast, settling in Steveston. Kathy enjoyed golf, walks with friends, book club, iced lattes and sweets. Kathy and Jeff were fortunate to have travelled extensively, including many trips to Australia to spend time with her youngest daughter and grandson.
Kathy loved beautiful flowers, jewellery, and scenery, taking pride in her home and family. A loyal friend, devoted wife and mother whose values and honesty guided her throughout her life.
Kathy was predeceased by her husband Jeff in 2023. She leaves her daughters Sara and Helan and grandson Owen, as well as family in Wales and dear friends in Wales, Australia and Canada. Kathy often said she felt lucky, even in some of her last few days, feeling content and happy with her life; a life well-lived without regrets.
