Jules Koundé, his appeal to France

On this day of the first round of legislative elections, Jules Koundé made an appeal to the French on social networks.

Three weeks after the dissolution of the National Assembly wanted by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, the French are called to the polls this Sunday as part of the first round of legislative elections.

In recent weeks, the Blues, in the middle of the Euro, have been asked by the press to share their view on the political situation. Some have remained evasive or even discreet, others like Marcus Thuram have clearly taken a position while a schismatic election is being announced.

“The RN is not a solution”

Committed footballer, Jules Koundé in turn spoke out via social networks to give his feelings, and call on his compatriots to vote. It is an important day for France and for its future. These days, voting is as much a duty as it is a right. The strength of democracy is that every voice counts and everyone is free to give their opinion. »

In his message, the defender of the Blues and Barça condemns the recourse to the National Rally. For my part, I see that the extreme right has never led a country towards more freedoms, more justice and living together. And I think it never will. I see a party founded on hatred of the other, disinformation and whose words are intended to stigmatize and divide us. The RN is not a solution. It is not a lesson, it is just my opinion. And you will do what you want with it. »
