The Granby Zoo renews its collaboration with LG2 for its 2024 summer campaign. Throughout the season, large-format displays, proximity advertisements as well as video and radio executions remind us that the Granby Zoo combines the best of three worlds with its real animals, water park and rides. The campaign uses the friendly animals and playful tone that marked last summer’s campaign. This time around, animals such as the hippo, giraffe and meerkats showcase the zoo’s attractions by visually showing the effect each has on them.

“We are very happy to be able to work hand in hand with LG2 in order to continue to bring to life the fun drawings from last summer. The Granby Zoo has a unique proposition that combines education and pleasure, and our animals are the perfect spokespersons to put this proposition forward,” explains Marie-Christine MartinDirector of Sales, Marketing and Communications, Granby Zoo.

“Last year, we wanted to bring children closer to real animals. This year, the more finished drawings show us that it’s mission accomplished. This summer, the before/after is still at the center of the campaign, but this time to show that the activities of the three zoo parks have quite an effect on the animals,” shares Genevieve Langloispartner and executive creative director, LG2.

The Granby Zoo’s 2023 summer campaign, to which the 2024 summer campaign follows, recently received two nominations for the Cannes Lions competition which rewards the best in advertising around the world. She also won two Gold awards at the Marketing Awards in addition to nine awards at the Idéa competition, which celebrates the best of advertising creativity in Quebec.
