Great success for Steve Gouin during shows for the benefit of La Fondation Hôtel-Dieu de Sorel

The Fondation Hôtel-Dieu de Sorel would like to thank Mr. Steve Gouin, nurse for palliative care at home, clinical advisor in palliative care, musician and philanthropist, for the organization of the two shows which took place on May 3 and 31 at the Les Années Folles cabaret for the benefit of our Foundation. This great return of the Gouin family and their guests was very appreciated by all and we are very grateful and privileged to have been chosen as a cause for several years.

Steve Gouin was accompanied by his House Band for the evening: Geneviève Gouin (vocals), Renaud Gouin (keyboard and drums), Dominic Bérard (bassist), Stéphane Jetté (drums) and Daniel Bégin (guitar and vocals). There were also several special guests: Fabien Bonnefoy (singer, guitarist and doctor), Dom Gouin (author, composer and performer), Arvyn Bonnefoy (drums), Pierre David (harmonica), Jeannot Soulière (vocals), Justine and Ophélie ( dance) as well as Jean-Pierre Gravel, (artist and presenter involved in the charitable field).

These were two great evenings where fun was on the agenda. An additional one had to be added on May 31, which demonstrates the interest of the population in this event.

This festive and emotional evening raised $7,500 which will be donated to the home palliative care service. Thank you to the cabaret Les Années Folles for their welcome in a modern decor. The Foundation also warmly thanks Mr. Gouin for his dedication and trust.
