The 29-year-old footballer was in fact the victim of a heart attack according to RMC Sport. The player was in the middle of a game of five when he collapsed, a defibrillator was needed to save him. Also according to information from the French media, he had a pacemaker-defibrillator fitted to stabilise his cardiac activity.
In 2023, Nabil Bentaleb was diagnosed with myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, when he signed for LOSC. After this discomfort suffered last week and the installation of a pacemaker, it is difficult to imagine seeing the former Tottenham player on the field again.
