“There is no denying that we are facing significant pressure from our customers to meet our order book commitments as quickly as possible,” confirmed the Journal Northvolt spokesperson Laurent Therrien on Tuesday morning.

“In this context, and in consultation with the board of directors, we are currently conducting a strategic review of our activities,” he added. In other words, it is this strategic review that risks pushing back the project’s schedule for us, it is indicated.

Northvolt garde son objectif

Despite this setback, Northvolt persists and remains firm: it wants to “play a central role in Quebec’s energy transition by manufacturing the greenest batteries in the world.”

“At Northvolt, we are aware that the challenges are certainly proportional to our ambitions, but we are constantly learning from our experience in Sweden, lessons that we are systematically implementing within the Northvolt Six project,” they assure.
