The City of Boulogne-sur-Mer recommends favoring the following car parks to attend the event:

Traffic and parking?

“The passage of the Olympic flame is accompanied by drastic security measures imposed by the Paris 2024 organization.no cars will be able to park on the entire route from 6 p.m. on Tuesday July 2“, indicates the municipality.

Regarding traffic, streets will be blocked 1 hour to 2 hours before the passage of the flame while the Traffic around the stadium will be prohibited from 8 a.m. The Jean Jaurès viaduct and the Entente Cordiale bridge will be blocked 1 hour before the passing of the Olympic flame.

The entire route will be reopened to traffic 30 minutes after the passage of the Olympic flame.

Disruptions are also expected on the Marinéo bus network (information on the company website).

Market maintained, Nausicaá closed in the morning, entertainment…

The City specifies that the market will be held like every Wednesday at Place Dalton. Of the animations will be organized before the passing of the flame around 11:30 a.m.

For security reasons, Nausicaá will be closed in the morning. “The flame will make a symbolic passage there for a passing of the torch in front of the largest aquarium in Europe,” comments the City. A beautiful moment in perspective!
