Renowned for its caramels and the sweet range that it has developed since its creation fourteen years ago in Plourivo, L’Ambr’1 never ceases to surprise. Open on rue Georges-Brassens since 2021, the Paimpolais boutique is moving “this Sunday” and will settle in, this Tuesday, July 2, at 7, rue de la Vieille-Poissonnerie. A strategic choice for its manager, Caroline Hubert, which makes it possible to support the growth of the activity, to benefit from a more promising location and to offer a plethora of new products. “Here we are in a transit zone; there, it’s more of a walking area, people take the time to look at the windows,” she summarizes.

Tea room and other surprises

A move which will also make it possible to open a tea room, in addition to the caramels, caramel pastes, fruit jellies, chocolate marshmallows, butter pucks and other delicacies which have made the reputation of the house founded by two pastry chef husbands. “I’m in the process of finishing the menu, but we will have indoor and outdoor tables,” smiles Caroline Hubert. With obviously the products from the store and a tasting of kouign-amann.” Not to mention a few other surprises. For the rest, it is always Marine who will be present to advise customers.
