Paris: the Vincennes zoo launches its nocturnal events for the summer

The great return of night walks. Between June 27 and July 25, nocturnal visits are once again offered at the Paris Zoological Park, in the Bois de Vincennes, every Thursday from 7 p.m. to midnight.

“When the sun sets and temperatures become milder, giraffes, pumas, jaguars, rhinos, zebras… reveal new behaviors,” promises the zoo. It’s the perfect time to come and observe them in a warm and intimate setting, then end the evening with a drink and delicacies on the temporary terrace in the square. »

Also planned are the “Silent zoo” evenings on June 27 and July 18. During these two night walks, the Paris Zoological Park offers its visitors the opportunity to stroll through its alleys equipped with headphones which will broadcast the musical creations of three DJs. This innovation from a few years ago allows walkers to walk, but also dance, without disturbing the wildlife around them.

These “Silent zoo” evenings will end at around 1 a.m., on the ephemeral terrace in front of the square. “A great opportunity to celebrate summer in Paris before the start of the Olympic Games,” point out the organizers. To mark the 10th anniversary of the Paris Zoological Park, visitors are invited to come and dress up with an animal theme. A dress code that will allow them to have access to a “surprise”.
