The composition of the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is known

After Namur and Brussels this week, the deputies of the Parliament of the Federation will take the oath on Tuesday July 2 during the installation meeting of the new assembly.

The Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is made up of 75 Walloon deputies supplemented by 19 Brussels deputies.

To compose this Brussels contingent, the MR chose Clémentine Barzin, Françoise Schepmans, Eléonore Simonet, Loubna Azghoud and Gaëtan Van Goidsenhoven.

The PS nominated Fadila Laanan, Nadia El Yousfi, Martin Casier, Leila Agic and Ibrahim Donmez.

At PTB, these are Octave Daube, Manon Vidal, Bruno Bauwens and Marisol Revelo Paredes.

Among the Engagés, the Brussels deputies selected are Stéphanie Lange and Alain Deneef.

In the Ecolo ranks, Matteo Segers and Margaux De Ré will sit in the two assemblies. DéFI chose Fabien Maingain for this mission.

The MR will have a total of 31 deputies, compared to 24 for the PS, 19 for the Engagés, 12 for the PTB, 7 for Ecolo and a DéFI.

The MR and the Engagés, who are currently negotiating the future community policy declaration (DPC), will therefore together have a majority of 50 seats out of 94 deputies.
