Facing the Embarcadère, construction equipment is finishing laying the asphalt. Companies attach tables, chairs and deck chairs to the ground. The services of the city of Boulogne sur mer will then remove the trees. The vast space in front of the performance hall will not be a parking lot, but a new place for public events.

By mid-July, a new promenade will open to Boulonnais on the marina side. The mayor of Boulogne sur mer, Frédéric Cuvillier:

The square in front of the performance and conference hall will soon be named. We don’t know his name yet. No more parking there, but it will be reserved for fairgrounds, exhibitions or learning to cycle!

Frédéric Cuviller, the mayor of Boulogne sur mer:

Under the cobblestones, the port of Boulogne sur mer has also equipped itself with an invisible ecological tool to recover all the rainwater from the new République district.

With the Place de France, the Eperon system should help improve the quality of bathing water. The mayor of Boulogne sur mer, Frédéric Cuvillier:

Surface water treatment cost 3.5 million euros, including 1.3 million euros financed by the Water Agency.

The underground electrical treatment and the passage of the urban heating network cost 1.1 million euros.
