Obituary of Ben Benoit
A resident of Chatham, Ben Benoit passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 83.
He was the son of the late Romain & Beatrice (nee Laprise) Benoit.
Remembered fondly by his children, Pam Bullock (Carl), Tim Benoit (Christine), Greg Benoit (Theresa), & Jan St. Pierre (Mark).
Grandpa & great-grandpa of many.
Brother of Ursula Benoit (Doug Baer) & Linda McGregor. Predeceased by siblings, Oscar & Elaine.
Missed by many nieces & nephews.
Ben worked for many years in Alberta as a Welder with the Pipe Line. He enjoyed spending his time playing cards, camping and listening to country music.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the 4th floor staff of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Ben’s wishes, cremation has taken place with burial at a later date.
In memory of Ben, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
