This Thursday, June 27, Los Guayabo Brothers and the percussion group Sambastone will perform from 8:30 p.m. on the square in front of the cathedral in Auch.
As part of “Summer Tuesdays”, the City of Auch in partnership with Cri’art, is offering a concert evening… this Thursday, once is not customary, from 8:30 p.m. on the square in front of the Cathedral (retreat to the Maison de Gascogne in bad weather). The event is free and open to everyone.
The evening will feature the group Los Guayabo Brothers, a Franco-Colombian group that combines traditional Colombian folklore with modern influences.
Their music is notably characterized by organic and tribal percussion while integrating psychedelic elements and a spicy brass section. This fusion of American, African and European sounds hopes to “transform the evening into an unforgettable psycho-tropical party”.
Sambastone
In the first part of the event, the percussion group Sambastone, from Gers, will “vibrate the audience” with samba reggae rhythms. Made up of around twenty musicians, the Sambastone group has shared their common passion for festive and aerial percussion for more than 15 years. Their communicative energy and their “wild” rhythms guarantee a “dancing and friendly” atmosphere.
