Arriving in 2021 from Poitiers Basket 86, Carl Ona Embo (1m88) stayed three seasons with Caen Basket Calvados. An exemplary and professional player, he went until the end of his contract and thus leaves the CBC after playing his last match on December 22, 2023 against Andrézieux.

The end of a chapter

Born in Lille, Carl Ona Embo was trained at Cholet Basket (Betclic Élite) then at the Center Fédéral (Pôle France). He subsequently went into exile abroad to sign his first professional contract with the Pallacanestro Biella club in Serie A (Italy). Back in France in Poitiers in 2010, he played several seasons in the French elite. In 2017, he joined Caen BC for the first time, he will leave the following season. Appreciated by Norman supporters, he returns in 2021 and will play three seasons at CBC in National 1.

At 34, the French has not yet announced what his future will be like.
