The Autour de Gaston association is organizing a clothing sale. next Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at 4, rue Eugène Castell in Tournefeuille. All profits will be donated to the parents of little Maxime, a 5-year-old boy waiting for a transplant in Montpellier.
The money raised should allow his parents to be able to stay a little longer as close as possible to the hospital, in order to support their son through their presence thus facilitated.
Maxime’s family is not unknown in the town of Tournefeuille, since his father is Benoît, who was a basketball coach in charge of the U17 Men’s Occitanie within the Territorial Cooperation of Clubs Tournefeuille Colomiers Ouest Toulousain Basket.
More than 1000 items of clothing and accessories will be offered for sale, and if you don’t like anything, it will still be possible to make a donation, which the association will pass on to Maxime’s parents.
The Autour de Gaston association, which was created in spring 2021, was born from the desire of residents of rue Gaston-Doumergue to strengthen or create links with those around them. The need for mutual aid has been accentuated by the health crisis, and the association aims to improve the quality of life of each person by fighting against isolation and loneliness, through the implementation of solidarity actions.
