“This building is classified as a local heritage site to be preserved. These bars must therefore be kept, underlines Marie-Dominique Parisot, mayor of Louveciennes. We studied the possibility of buying the building via Saemhl. But the cost of rehabilitation is too high. There is a lot to do. The estimate of the work is 800 000 euros. The town did not sue. »

“We are constantly looking for local traders”

The building was acquired by a group of two investors. “It’s already been seven months,” says the mayor of Louveciennes. Upstairs, the five-room apartment can be sold independently of the commercial premises located on the ground floor. It is in everyone's interest toliven up the neighborhoodbut difficulties are encountered in attracting traders. »

Marie-Dominique Parisot has noticed a decline in local businesses. “We are constantly looking for local traders. We have the Parly 2 shopping center nearby, and also Marly-le-Roi, and people buy a lot on the internet,” she laments.
