In this period of intense current events, strong technological progress and rapid social changes, the mission of the UOV is more essential than ever: make knowledge accessible to all, without hindrance or limits. Building on this determination, we are proud to present a 2024/2025 program rich in conferences, workshops, courses, etc. intended to enlighten and enrich minds.
Our educational offering is designed to respond, in the most accessible way, to current demands while sustainably nourishing everyone’s intellectual curiosity. You will find :
- Conference cycles (current affairs, geopolitics, sciences, history, arts, literature, music, etc.)
- Language courses (English, German, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian/Italian literature, French sign language, classical languages/Latin-Greek, Russian/Russian literature and civilization, etc.)
- Cultural and artistic practice workshops (watercolor, Chinese calligraphy, drawing, literature, writing, listening to music, writing, genealogy, art history, memory, oenology, photography, qi gong, bookbinding, theater, etc.)
- Classes for young audiences (English and preparation for the Cambridge English Young Learners exams, Chinese, Italian, theater…)
- French as a Foreign Language courses (general French, specialized courses: spelling/grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, French in a professional environment, French culture, history and civilization, preparation for DELF B2, etc.)
- Online courses… conferences, workshops and language courses will be offered exclusively online.
Learn about geopolitics, attend conferences on philosophy or art history or take part in the introductory musical listening workshop! Internships during school holidays…
✔ For kids : the UOV offers different courses during school holidays (drawing, comics, Russian, theater and improvisation, etc.)
✔ For adults : introduction to drawing, discovery of alternative bindings, refresher course in spelling/grammar, knowing how to write in French, French in a professional environment, etc.

These conferences allow everyone to listen to and meet intellectuals, thinkers, academics, who have published a work during the past year in fields as varied as history, philosophy, science, arts and literature… Monday per month at 6:30 p.m.
