As of July 2024, the progress of work related to the development of mobility infrastructure between the prefecture of Casablanca and the province of Nouaceur – Casablanca West zone – reaches 35%.

This project is carried out “at a very high cadence, and will be completed before the deadline initially set”said Abdellatif Maâzouz, president of the Casablanca-Settat regional council, during the ordinary session held on July 1.
“With a budget of 2 billion DH, it is financed to the tune of 250 million DH by the region. Several districts are concerned, notably that of Hay Hassani,” he added.
In fact, this project involves the widening of the regional road RR 320 to 2 x 3 lanes, over a total length of 3,000 m, as well as the construction of three hoppers at several key intersections to facilitate the passage of vehicles.
The scope of intervention will include the districts of Anfa, Hay Hassani and Aïn Chock, as well as the municipalities of Dar Bouazza, Ouled Azzouz and Bouskoura.
In addition to the region’s participation, the cost of this program is covered by the following parties:
- Ministry of the Interior: 350 MDH;
- Ministry of Equipment and Water: 250 MDH;
- Ministry of National Planning, Urban Development, Housing and Urban Policy: 250 MDH;
- Casablanca Prefectural Council: 75 MDH;
- Nouaceur provincial council: 65 MDH;
- Casablanca municipality: 100 MDH;
- commune of Dar Bouazza: 65 MDH;
- commune of Oulad Azzouz: 20 MDH;
- economic interest group: 575 MDH.
