COMPANY. Thursday June 20, at the Relais des Nations, the Lions Club Saint-Dizier Grand Der rewarded the actions of the 2023/2024 season, by presenting checks for a total amount of 11,350 euros to several beneficiaries.

“More than 11,000 euros have been allocated to ten partner associations of the club, some of which have been for many years,” said Chantal Zeien, president of the Lions Club Saint-Dizier Grand Der until the end of the month of June. Before giving the floor to Ousmat El Turk, head of the works commission, who recalled that these funds were raised by the members of the club through the actions carried out since the summer of 2023. In the presence of the vast majority of representatives or beneficiaries themselves, envelopes were given to various structures including the visually impaired association, the Haute-Marne Cancer League, the Arc-en-Ciel association, but also to schools, or even to victims of the war in Ukraine.

A collaboration with the Chaumont Lions Club

At the individual level, the Lions Club Saint-Dizier Grand Der also participated in the repair of an important option of an electric wheelchair for a person with a disability and in the purchase of a pressotherapy device, in collaboration with the Chaumont Lions Club.
