The rain came for the Saint-Louis school fair on Sunday June 16. The director, Nicolas Dard, had to delay and shorten the parade initially planned in the village to go to the Salle de la Botterie, where everything was organized, instead of the Jardins de la Cure.

The public did not shy away from the event, despite the unfavorable weather conditions. Nearly 500 people attended the children’s show on the theme “Across the World”. Each class sang and danced in reference to a country, including Africa, South America, Spain and India. Each child wore the costume of the country of the song performed. Beforehand, 400 meals had been reserved.

During the afternoon, numerous game stands were set up in the Botterie room and under the awnings where children, parents and grandparents competed in a family atmosphere.

Ludivine Chalet-Lucas, president of Ogec, took the floor to thank the seventeen members of her team who ensure the management and maintenance of the school all year round. She discussed their next project: the revegetation of part of the school playground. For this file, they are awaiting the return of the subsidy request addressed to Vendée Eau and are seeking patronage and various donations, whether in material, time or financial.
