This Creuse town is preparing for a crazy evening of 80’s hits

Saturday June 29, who will hear hits from the 80s resounding near Saint-Dizier-Masbaraud (Creuse), should have the desire to dance and hum well-known tunes. Those who have long occupied the top of the Top 50 and who still bring liveliness to festive evenings today.

After making tractors bite the dust, during tractor-cross competitions, or invited to spend the evening around dinners, the festival committee puts back in the spotlight, a few singers who have managed to cross musical trends. And not the least, since it is Cookie Dingler, Patrick Hernandez, William from Start of evening and Jean-Pierre Mader, accompanied by their guitarist friend.
Sylvie Peyne, president of the organizing association, explains that this concert is the realization of a wish put forward during the discussions for the implementation of activities.

It was by searching on the internet, and coming across the site of a producer, that of Carrement prod.com, that the committee got started. The choice fell on the show La Madness of the 80s. A concert in which the singers who are also found on larger tours, accompanied by other fellow artists of the same wave, like to share everything, words and music.

Outdoors… or indoors

The show being planned outdoors, at the Saint-Dizier-Leyrenne stadium, the evening should therefore not lack atmosphere and rhythm. In the event of bad weather, the public will be invited to retreat to the Bourganeuf multipurpose hall.

On either side of the 80 m2 stage, two large screens so that the most distant spectators can also associate the image with the sound. The outdoor venue has a capacity of 3,500 spectators and the indoor venue 1,000. As with any event of this type, for which around forty volunteers are involved, a secure parking area is provided.

The first part will be hosted by Patrice Mege, official double of Michel Delpech from 7:30 p.m. His performance around songs from the 60s and 70s, lasting one hour, will be followed by a blind test .

Real stars, not lookalikes

Then, local artists such as Marie Vingerder, and the Leyrennettes en Folie, will take the stage to finally launch the journey back in time, to the 80s. The show should last more than an hour and a half. If some fans of variety still have difficulty believing that Cookie Dingler, Patrick Hernandez, William from Start of evening and Jean-Pierre Mader, will be the real stars singing their own songs but also those of friends of the same generation, may they be reassured.
