TPM participated in the national event “May by bike” by offering for the 5th edition nearly 50 free events open to all.
“Tous en saddle” film festival, Ride a bike, Challenge Géovélo, numerous activities put the little queen in the spotlight.
Thus, from May 1 to 31, the Var residents were encouraged to get back in the saddle, to learn how to repair their cycle, to test new gentle mobility or to discover the disciplines linked to cycling.
And, for the 5th edition, the Maison de la Mobilité TPM organized the “Go cycling!” operation on May 25 and 26. » to promote the practice. It was an opportunity to join one of the 6 processions of the metropolis which converged towards the Cravéro park (Le Pradet) to join the village bike with 30 events and the great Carnavélo musical parade, guided by the group La Dinamo, a group unique group of musicians on two wheels who offered a high-voltage traveling concert to the rhythm of funk.
Finally, TPM opened a Vélo service area in Hyères, an ideal place for short and long breaks. It offers on the seafront, very close to the coastal cycle path (V65), a relaxation area in a very pleasant setting!
So combine the useful (with the toilets, the inflation station, the free repair totem) and the pleasant (picnic tables and a small beach) to rest after a long cycling effort.
