Rodez: Thierry Costes hands over to the Costes-Cunill garage

Friday, at 46, avenue de Vabre in Rodez, the inauguration of the new Costes-Cunill garage was celebrated. A beautiful story that grows, transforms, evolves. In a few days, Thierry Costes will lay down his apron at 63 and leave the keys to Géraldine Cunill, wife of Laurent.

The beautiful family story continues

So, the beautiful family story continues! She started Route de Sévérac in Quatre-Saisons, with father Raymond Costes, in May 1958. His main activity was bodywork. In 1976, he joined forces with his son-in-law, Jean Cunill, bringing painting as a complementary activity. Both will form SNC Costes-Cunill, which in 1988 will become SARL Costes-Cunill. Géraldine Cunill joined the team in 2000.

And it was following the disaster at the establishment in July 2020 that the garage took on a new evolution. By integrating a more efficient work tool in bodywork, painting and auto mechanics. Mission accomplished for Thierry Costes who sees his baby enlarged and above all operational with Géraldine at its head who, since 2000, has shown her ability to manage the company. She is helped in this by two bodybuilders, two painters and two mechanics as well as a management assistant. A keen hiker, Thierry Costes will now be able to devote himself to his passion… But there is no doubt that from time to time, he will take a kind look at the garage!
