2 Montreal terraces are among the 100 best in Canada according to OpenTable

Just when you thought Montreal couldn’t get any hotter.

When the city heats up, it’s time to eat outdoors.

Whether you’re heading to your favorite park with a picnic, an urban beach, or a restaurant patio overlooking the city, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to finding the perfect place for outdoor dining in Montreal.

OpenTable analyzed diner metrics and more than 1.1 million reviews and narrowed the list down to restaurants where Canadians love to dine outdoors.

In Montreal, two restaurants with terraces made the list as well as a third in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Bistro Nolah, a few minutes drive from downtown Montreal.

Where are the best terraces in Montreal?

In Montreal, recently ranked among the 20 best gastronomic cities in the world, Terrasse William Gray and Chez Levesque were among the Top 100.

During the winter, you can dine on the rooftop in a magical heated dome (think twinkling lights, candles, faux fur throws, and a decadent menu focused on local produce).

2. At Levesque

The red awnings of the Chez Levesque terrace evoke a French brasserie.

Open from the end of April to the end of October, the terrace is covered and heated for cooler evenings.

Enjoy charcuterie, tartars, oysters, lobster and other seafood while watching the world go by on Laurier Avenue.
