A first in Sarreguemines but not in politics

In 2022, Hervé Hocquet presented himself at Saint-Avold. For 2024, he favors the coalition of patriots.

We have already made a commitment not to run against outgoing RN deputies.

The candidate therefore gives way to Alexandre Loubet. Retired professor of history and geography, Hervé Hocquet defines himself as a Gaullist.

This is particularly the appeal to the people constantly. That is to say, through referendums in particular. Ask the people what they want.

Purchasing power and immigration as priorities

In the National Assembly, he will defend as a priority the purchasing power et the fight against immigration.

There are VAT cuts planned. For example, we have always fought to lower the VAT on the gasoline tax. We have a tax on gasoline, and then we have a VAT on this tax. So we have a tax on a tax, it’s absurd. This reduction amounts to 10 cents per liter. It is also the reduction in VAT on essential products. As for immigration, the solutions are of course asylum requests at the borders, for example the abolition of the AME except for vital things.

Concerning the territory, priority will be given to laws which help the tourism and agricultural sector.

For example, we could develop, as in the north of France, the cultivation of linen for textiles, this avoids importing cotton which uses a lot of water, which comes from far away. And then, there is a whole reindustrialization policy. There is this aberration of the European Union which wants to force us to no longer make thermal engines by 2035 and we must in particular for the automobile sector, particularly in the region, stop with this all-electric madness.

In 2022, Hervé Hocquet obtained 2.13% of the votes in the first round.
