Tehef and Babeu exhibition at Arko

Jérôme Legrand, president of the Arko gallery, suggests going to meet two artists Tehef and Babeu.

The first, Tehef, a protean artist, creates papier-mâché portraits, square mosaics, which he presents like trophies, and illustrations on digital paper.

He gave life to Marylou, a characteristic stylized character who questions or affirms and evolves in different situations experienced, dreamed, hoped for or feared.

A gallery of fantastic figures, from a selection of anonymous personalities, stateless and mysterious specimens, immobilized as trophies, like madmen who have lost their minds in the game of wall pass.

The second, Babeu, photographer and colorist, plays with the pigments, from which he obtains random or controlled paintings, which he photographs at the moment T, the one he judges to be successful, to fix the rendering.

This process is a true cooperation between the artist and the painting which observes the forms that arise in the medium and tries to capture them. The artist exercises his skill and creativity to immortalize ephemeral works drawn in fresh paint.

The artists invite art lovers to discover beautiful surprises and to meet them in the company of their faithful companion Crottin until Sunday June 30 on Wednesday and Thursday; from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Information. Exhibition for all audiences to discover freely and free of charge. Arko Association, 3, place Mossé. 06.58.71.49.87.
