For around ten years, the volleyball section of the ALL (Lédonian Secular Association) has organized a beach volleyball tournament on the site of the Bellecin nautical center. This event took place over two days, Saturday June 8 and Sunday June 9. “ The weather was great, sunburn and swimming were also there. As organizers we are very satisfied, and the players were too“, commented Olivier Berne, the president.

Saturday was more intended for “leisure” practice, therefore for Jura residents and not necessarily licensed. The Sunday competition was aimed at licensed players, mainly from clubs in Burgundy-Franche-Comté (Saint-Vit, Besançon, Salins or Lons-le-Saunier). Every day, 24 teams of 3 players competed against each other. Around fifteen volunteers organized the two days. Note that Karine Guilleminot, player at Salins, achieved the double of the weekend. In fact, she was part of the two winning teams, that of Saturday and that of Sunday.

The ALL section includes 120 licensees, including 80 young people and 40 who play “leisure”.

The results :

Saturday June 8: main draw: 1/ Familly (Lons); 2/ Tomato Onion Salad (Lons); 3/ Les gros Boulards (Plainoiseau); 4/ BEB (Lons). Consoling picture: 1/ Why not? (Lons); 2/ Mag Free (Lons).
