Romans-sur-Isère: several hundred people at the funeral of Nicolas, killed in a shooting in Saint-Péray

Several hundred people gathered this Tuesday morning in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) to attend Nicolas's funeral. His family, his friends, his loved ones but also a crowd of anonymous people came to pay him a last tribute, ten days after the tragedy.

“Protector” and “guardian angel”

The white coffin carried by Nicolas's friends was covered with little words written by his loved ones. Her aunt and godmother, her cousin, a friend spoke during the ceremony. They spoke of a Nicolas always present for his loved ones, protective for his little brother and his little sister, guardian angel for his friends, always impeccable also in his appearance and his clothing. Faced with the feeling of injustice, the priest had his words: “we can feel helpless when violence strikes indiscriminately, we all count on the justice of our country”. The final public tribute will take place in front of the cemetery at 2 p.m.
