I really like the atmosphere, it’s festive. I encourage people of all ages to stay active. This is what gives quality of life.

A quote from Janvier Caron, triathlon participant

According to the event director, the chosen route allows the Sherbrooke triathlon to stand out.

We are really lucky because we are in the heart of the city. We have river swimming. Then we have a bike course which is very rolling, it goes up, it goes down, it is known for being fast. Then we have an urban race around the Lake of Nations, a bucolic setting with enough space also for spectators to be able to encourage their athletes. describes Judith Lavallée, the triathlon director.

Things are going really well, the temperature is on our side.

Tests for every taste

Once again this year, the triathlon offers events that appeal to many athletes.

We also have youth events which go from 7 years old to 15, 16 and 17 years old. For those who don’t really like swimming, there were duathlons that combine running, cycling, running. We really have something for everyone, from younger to older indicates Judith Lavallée.

The event also constitutes a stage of the Coupe Québec and receives the qualifications for the Australian world championships in 2025.
