Four women and six men for two positions

In Indre, after a turbulent week, it is now official: ten candidates will face each other during the legislative elections of June 30 and July 7, 2024. There were seventeen in 2022, eight in the first constituency, nine in the second.

This time, there will be five in each constituency, coveting the post of deputy. If four women and one man run in the first constituency, the face of the second is 100% male.

The two outgoing deputies, François Jolivet (Horizons) in the first constituency, and Nicolas Forissier (Les Républicains) in the second, will try to keep their seats. They will both face serious contenders with candidates from the National Rally (Mylène Wunsch and Marc Siffert) and the New Popular Front (Éloïse Gonzalez and Clément Sapin) respectively in each of their constituencies.
