THE Cinema under the stars by Funambules Médias returns for its fifteenth edition from June 26 to August 31, 2024. On the program, around fifty captivating documentaries that explore social, political and environmental themes. Where and when ?

This year, screenings will take place in twenty parks across the city, as well as in a few neighboring cities such as Longueuil, Cowansville, Sutton and Bromont. No need to break the bank for a movie night; All you have to do is head to the nearest park, make yourself comfortable with a folding chair or blanket, and enjoy the show.

To kick off this edition in style, June 26 will mark the Quebec premiere of the film “Farming the Revolution” by Akash Basumatari and Nishtha Jain. This poignant documentary deals with protests against unjust agricultural laws in India, a theme that is as timely as it is necessary.
