Mbappé on the bench?
The starting Blues defense in Metz should be renewed with, from right to left, Koundé, Konaté, Upamecano and Théo Hernandez. Ibrahima Konaté and Dayot Upamecano, whose playing time was reduced at the end of the season, will be expected for this meeting against opposition that is much tougher than that offered by Luxembourg. In midfield, the only change should concern Youssouf Fofana, who could give way to Eduardo Camavinga.
Offensively, Ousmane Dembélé should make his return. The PSG winger, weakened by nasopharyngitis, was replaced by Randal Kolo Muani on Wednesday. The only uncertainty concerns Kylian Mbappé. Will the captain, absent from collective training on Saturday June 8, be spared by his coach? In this case, Olivier Giroud will take the lead in the attack and Marcus Thuram will occupy the left side.
