Good news! Residents of Épinay-sous-Sénart and surrounding areas will soon be able to taste the unmissable special tarts and breads of the French brand Marie Blachère. Indeed, work on this future bakery, which will be installed on avenue du 8 mai 1945 at the end of rue du Boisselet, will begin in November 2024.
An opening planned for 2025
The mayor of the city, Damien Allouch, announced the launch of the work on October 21 after the adoption of the PLU and the building permit.
This new bakery should open its doors in the second quarter of 2025. It will complement the already existing offering with the bakery located Place du Relais west, rue Georges Bizet.
As a reminder, the Marie Blachère brand has been founded in 2004 by Bernard Blachère and his daughter Marie, in Salon de Provence. The brand then expanded on a large scale throughout France, but also abroad by opening bakeries in the United States, Portugal, and Luxembourg.
In Essonne, the brand opened more than ten bakeries which are notably in Corbeil-Essonnes, Évry-Courcouronnes, Itteville, Ormoy, Brétigny-sur-Orge, Étampes, Orsay, Chilly-Mazarin, or even Athis-Mons.
