Gaza remains under Israeli bombs. The Palestinian territory is under siege and humanitarian aid is almost no longer entering. The main consequence is once again, malnutrition, which has become daily life for Gazans.

In the Middle East, a ceasefire plan is still on the table to try to put an end to the war Gaza and obtain the release of Israeli hostages. Hamas, which does not accept it, remains silent, but does not reject it either. For his part, the Israeli Prime Minister remains ambiguous. He appears to approve the plan with his Western allies, but refuses to officially endorse it in his country, for fear of precipitating the fall of his government. His Far Right ministers are demanding that the fighting continue. In the meantime, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate in Gaza. Without being able to access sufficient aid, its inhabitants are once again exposed to malnutrition.

In Gaza, aid came mainly through Egypt, via the Rafah terminal. At the beginning of May, this crossing point came under Israeli control. It is closed. The Jewish state allows a few rare trucks to pass through its territory to deliver international aid. But their number is insufficient.
