This is the case of the Pommaries school in Annecy and the Grésy elementary school in Aix in Savoie.
The Pommaries school in Annecy is to benefit from major renovation work. The launch of the work took place late in the afternoon this Thursday, October 17. While in Savoie, the elementary school of Grésy sur Aix not far from Aix-les-Bains has been expanded. The inauguration was also held today.
Launch of renovation work on the Pommaries school
It was today at the end of the afternoon that the official launch of the renovation work at the Pommaries school in Annecy took place. An establishment which must undergo major work after that carried out in the Carnot school. This Pommaries school group, which we recall was built in the 1970s, requires a complete functional and energy renovation of its buildings.
A project in favor of educational success and the energy transition
Just like the Carnot school, work on which began in June 2024, the buildings of the Pommaries school group will be rehabilitated. These exemplary projects meet different objectives in terms of educational success and energy transition:
Enable the best possible reception of children aged 3 to 11 during school and extracurricular times by making the buildings functional and providing daily comfort.
Mitigate rising temperatures and respond to environmental challenges by implementing efficient thermal renovation.
For the renovation work on the Pommaries school, delegated project management was entrusted by the City to SPL OSER.
The renovation will take place in 4 phases
From July 2024 to April 2025: kindergarten
From April to December 2025: ground floor (July/August) and 2nd floor of the elementary
From December 2025 to July 2026: 1st floor of the elementary
In July and August 2026: school restaurant
Delivery is scheduled for the start of the 2026 school year.
Inauguration of the school extension in Grésy sur Aix
In Savoie this time in Grésy sur Aix. It is the extension of the elementary school which was officially inaugurated this afternoon as well as its fresco created by students.
