“Everything is not perfect. But everything is not to be thrown away”, then assured the coach about the recent performances of the Blues. “We are in a bit of a transition period, with players who have qualities and who require confirmation. This League of Nations must serve us for that. We failed against Italy (3-1 defeat, editor’s note), ok, but we had a very good match against Belgium (2-0 victory).”
After three days, the French team (6 pts) is second in its Nations League group, one point behind Italy. The Blues now have a meeting with Belgium on Monday in Brussels (8:45 p.m.).
