How do applications work?

Sciences Po Lille opens a Preparation for the competitive examination the National School of Magistracy (ENM) at the start of the 2024 school year in partnership with the Institute of Judicial Studies (IEJ) in Lille.

Students have two options:

  • apply for entry into the PGC of Sciences Po Lille to follow the IEJ courses + the ENM course + all the other courses in the Preparation for the Major Administrative Competitions of Sciences Po Lille (in order to prepare for other competitive examinations the senior civil service, in particular the administrative magistrate (TACAA) and financial (CRC) competitions).

  • an eligibility phase on file (open from April 2 to May 2 inclusive on the Sciences Po Lille website)
  • an admission phase consisting of a 20-minute oral examination for candidates declared eligible.

Orientation fairs not to be missed!
From September to June, Studyrama organizes Higher Studies fairs throughout France! This is the opportunity to discover hundreds of training courses from bac to bac+5, to talk with the educational leaders to ask them all your questions! You will also be able to attend numerous conferences around themes related to orientation: Parcoursup, professions, sectors, career opportunities, etc.

The ENM competition, for whom?

Students can apply being obtained a master’s level diploma or already holders of a master’s degree.

The emphasis will be on methodology and weekly test gallops. Due to the reduced number of students in the prep school, the monitoring of students will be completely individualized, with each and every one of them being followed by a mentor. The lessons will be taught by magistrates, teacher-researchers, senior civil servants as well as preparatory class teachers.

At the end of their course, trainees will be able to receive an establishment diploma from Sciences Po Lille: the DE Preparation for careers in the High Civil Service.

Are you cut out to study IEP? Take the test to find out!
