End of careers, in Grand-Auverné (Loire-Atlantique)

Collective “ end of career » it is an alliance, citizen lobbying, of local struggles in Loire-Atlantique against projects which go against the environmental concerns advocated by the government and expected by the population. The objective of this coalition is to pool our knowledge, our skills and our means of action to effectively influence the social acceptance of projects impacting the habitability of our territories.

“ End of career » is organizing a meeting on June 14, 15 and 16, open to all, so that everyone can come and learn about the harmful practices of the extractive industry during conferences led by specialists, in a festive and rural setting at Grand-Auverné 44 “ hamlet la Haluchère “.

Are we going to accept for much longer that extractivism shapes our territories, destroys our landscapes, contaminates our water and pollutes our subsoils? ?

Ecocidal projects such as the creation/expansion/reopening of quarries and landfill sites are still on the agenda despite the general rejection of the population.

Many local struggles then emerged to protect their territory. It is time to combine our strengths and our thoughts to move forward together towards other solutions and to make our voices heard.

We therefore invite you to a festive, informative and reflective weekend on the theme of extractivism. Screenings, conferences, stands, workshops, shows, concerts and demonstrations will punctuate this activist event.

Bring your good mood, camping equipment, your most beautiful demonstration masks.

Free participation in the gathering, canteen on site.

We are expecting many of you to collectively denounce the neoliberal industrial mechanics which impacts rural areas without improving the habitability of urban areas.
