MACH Basic 2024-2: The free press is progressing

The wave 2024-2 of the MACH Basic audience study covers the period from April 6, 2022 to March 23, 2024. 30,1842 interviews were carried out in the 3 linguistic regions of the country.

How is this REMP study carried out?
7134 people responded for the French-speaking part. First, people are recruited by telephone. In the second stage, respondents participate in a main interview. This can take the form of a computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI) or an online interview (CAWI). In the case of the telephone interview, the person surveyed receives visual aids by post beforehand. For the online interview, visual supports are integrated into the questionnaire.

The new two-stage methodology implemented in April 2021, which extends the study time to two years, makes it possible to smooth the data. We will therefore not be surprised by the stability of the audiences for the 2024-1 wave. For this wave, Total Audience data was communicated. They allow you to combine web and print audiences.
