As we mentioned recently, Xbox Cloud Gaming is about to experience a major breakthrough, since it will very soon be possible to buy Xbox games to enjoy them in streaming and to stream your own games. While Microsoft should communicate on the subject very soon, today @redphx is revealing to us how things should look.
Here's how you can buy your Xbox Cloud Gaming games
The creator of Better xCloud, the extension bringing numerous improvements to Xbox Cloud Gaming, shows how it will soon be possible to purchase games in a few clicks in order to enjoy them via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Concretely, the process looks simple since a button See on the store will appear directly on the compatible games page, then offering you the possibility of purchasing them, directly from the Xbox application or as here via the browser.
As shown in the image above, you can choose your payment method and in particular find your various wallets, and then all you have to do is enjoy your new game.
Towards an imminent release!
At the moment, it is not yet clear when it will officially be possible to purchase and stream your own games via Xbox Cloud Gaming. We have heard several rumors on the subject, and the president of Xbox, Sarah Bond, recently declared that it would be possible in November to purchase and stream its games via the Xbox application on Android. Everything therefore suggests that these changes are imminent.
The court's decision to open Google's mobile store in the United States will provide more choice and flexibility. Our mission is to enable more players to play on more devices. So we're excited to announce that starting this November, players will be able to play and purchase Xbox games directly from the Xbox app on Android.
Things are happening behind the scenes for Xbox Cloud Gaming and we shouldn't have to wait much longer for an official announcement from Microsoft.
We now hope that the next steps for the service will be to benefit from drastic technical improvements, so that it becomes a serious alternative capable of attracting players who do not have consoles or PCs to enjoy Xbox games.
