The Petits Palots association, bringing together parents of pupils from the Belleville schools, Maginot primary school and Charles-Perrault nursery school, will hold its general meeting on Friday September 20 at 8 p.m., in the premises of the festival committee, avenue Gaston Demenois.

“But this assembly is vital for the future of the association,” explained the president, Pauline Maier, who, with a few other volunteers, had a stand at the associations’ forum in the Convard room.

Helping schools with their projects

There, they reminded the public: “The association aims to bring together families attending schools during events throughout the year, and to make donations to schools to help them with their projects: book donations, travel assistance.”

And the association is involved in various events: among others, Saint-Nicolas with distribution of chocolates, raffle of the galette des rois, end-of-year fair. But, warns the president: “This year again, the Petits Palots association is in danger and is seriously lacking volunteers to continue its actions. Without new members and volunteers, the association will not be able to continue for the year 2024 – 2025.”

So, before the general meeting, an appeal is launched to parents to join this adventure, whatever the form of contribution or support, knowing that, for conviviality, moments of sharing with the family and afternoons of board games are organized.

To join the association

People wishing to join the association can come to the general meeting location on September 20 at 8 p.m. (association premises of the festival committee, avenue Gaston Demenois) or inquire at 06 30 53 72 02.
