Paracylism World Championships: Twentieth world title for Alexandre Léauté

Alexandre Léauté won his twentieth world title in para-cycling. The Frenchman won the C2 category road race on Friday in Zurich. A solo winner, the double Paralympic champion this summer finished second in the time trial on Tuesday and third in the road race at the Games.

At 23, the Breton, partially deprived of motor skills on his right side after a stroke at birth, now has 20 world titles, 13 on the track and 7 on the road, a dizzying list of achievements for the man who has become one of the faces of French para-cycling.
